Inevitability, the life of a performing arts is filled with heartbreak, rejection, and perseverance. Every time I receive a rejection, I write my worries on a piece of paper, fold it into a paper crane (origami), and let my paper crane and worries fly away. There is a belief, that if you fold 1,000 paper cranes, the Heavens will recognize your determination and grant your wish.
I'm happy to share this personal story of mine, along with the Molloy/CAP21 Class of 2020, has been written into an original musical directed by Jillian Carucci and Rob Baumgartner.
