“The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful of all. - Mulan”

Hi, I'm Gabi Chun! 你好,我叫陈嘉壁!

When I was 3 years old, I made a bet with my mom: If I could hit a homerun in T-ball, I could take dance lessons. With a grand jeté to home base, I made my first (and only) homerun in this lifetime.  So here I am!

Born and raised in San Francisco, California, I graduated from Molloy/CAP21 in New York with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Business. Since then, I've played the sweetest Phantom of Gluttony in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (SF Oasis/Ray of Light Theatre), book-worm and identity-crisis Gilly in The Imaginaries (Bay Area Children's Theatre), and over-achieving, burnt-out gifted child Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Cinnabar Theater).

Thank you to my family, my friends, and my teachers from Molloy/CAP21, YPTMTC, Inspire Music and more for helping to shape me into who I am today. I'm so excited to have the time of my life, wherever life takes me next!
